Welcome to RAPIDprototyping.nl! My name is Johannes Postma and my journey in the technical sector started in 2015, with the last few years being mainly dedicated to 3D printing of plastics. I have gained a lot of experience in different fabrication techniques and diverse materials. From CNC milling in high quality metals to making microstructures in different types of glass or manufacturing plastic parts in different techniques.
As General Manager, I am concerned with the continued development of our fine company and my focus is on supporting prototyping and small batch manufacturing for technical parts and show models. With a mechanical engineering background in product development, plastic processing techniques and CNC machining in mold making, I started specializing in 3D printing and prototyping with RAPIDprototyping.nl around 2000. It is therefore with due pride that I look at the various projects that have been realized since then and are now shown on this website.
Although the daily operations have now been handed over to a new generation, in the background I still pass on my practical experience to motivated colleagues every day. For RAPIDprototyping.nl the challenge is always to make the impossible possible within the portfolio of techniques at our disposal. This with a creative eye and a focus on quality, speed and above all
affordability.
